i have a set of brand new valve springs lying around that i know nothing about. i called the local head shop and they told me to bring my heads in and they would charge me $55 dollars to get the springs specs. arent there valve spring testers that can just test the spring without the heads or is there a standard installed height on stock heads that i can go by to give them? $55 is alot of money to throw away on a chance that the springs will work.
