valve sizing

What size valves is everyone using in there ported heads, and whats the largest diameter you can fit in the stock size seats with just a regrind. Thanks Eric L

The valve seat is 2.00" in diameter. I'd run 2.00/1.56 valves. If you come across a nice set of 2.02's though cheap, they'll work fine.

Thats what i was thinkin, but i was told that 2.02/1.60s would necesitate the instalation of larger valve seats. Thanks Prorac1

Especially on the internet .


Does the edge of the seat being .010" from the edge of the valve? On street stuff... it isn't going to matter & can be preferable at times. 2.00/2.02 - I wouldn't sweat it, there's more important things to worry about IMO
