Valve Seals

Do i need valves seals for/ when im installing my hotcam kit and headers
the gm guy quoted me like 7 bucks per cyclinder

I got the k-line seals from Thunder when I did my cam swap. Pretty decent, they came with a little tool for installation that helped a bit.

Look for 11/32 Umbrella types if you're looking around locally.

do you need them to install the hotcam kit?

If you're changing springs, you're going to want new seals.

I think the seals were also $35ish.. Summit AND Jegs were out of 11/32 Umbrella types when I did my cam swap I'd check with them first, they're MUCH cheaper ($17 - $20).

Check around locally too, you never know what you're going to find at Autozone sometimes.

Yes you will need them.. you will distort the old ones when you remove them when you put in the spring seats. Goto autozone and get the Felpro seals they are only $19.99 or so...
