Hello,
I am having a set of heads ported/polised and some bowl work done for my 396. I want to go with a bigger set of valves. like manley street flo 2.02/1.60 's. will these valves fit in the stock sized seats?

also im going to go w/ the gm 847 camshaft, i was wondering what springs to run w/ it. by the way i have 1.6 comp pro mag rr's. anyone know of a good lifter/pushrod choice?

The seats will not accomodate the 2.02 valves without major work the 2.00/1.56 valves will fit fine.

I am using K-motion K-800s and 1.6s with my GM 847.

 

Go with a 2.00 valve. Also you might want to look into behive springs, they are pretty nice uptop offer a little added stability in the upper RPMs.


Me? I am using some dual valvesprings.

what retainers and locks did you use for the k-800 springs?

what lifters and pushrods would you reccomend using?

how do you like your 847?
is it street mannered or explain how you think this cam to be!
