Question valve lash setting...

Anyone have experience, or had to reset valve lash due to light upper end chatter? it is faint, but noticeable, and I was curious if this is just valve lash that is out? you cant really hear it if you are listening to the enging outside, but noticeable inside with windows up and all ACC. off. It doesnt sound like an exhaust gasket leak, that I would have noticed outside. Any and all suggestions and input are greatly appreciated, and I thank you !

How might I go about adjusting them? Is that also known as "valve lash", or is that just giving a .5 turn on the rocker nuts? I have considered putting a set of roller rockers on it, if I have to get in there...something tells me I will be making a trip to Summit Racing after work tommorow anyways!! thanks once again!

Many methods to set the valves here.

Lash is the space between the rocker arm and the tip of the valve stem. Hydraulics lifters use zero lash. "Preload" is the term used for the additional turns needed to center the plunger on the hydraulic lifter.
