valve lash adjustment

valve lash adjustment

whats the thickness of the feeler guage that I need to use when adjusting the lash on an LT-1? Im all ears! thanks guys,

They are hydraulic rollers, you don't use a feeler gauge.

Well, assuming that you have a hydraluic roller, you don't use a feeler gauge. Verify that the particular valve you're going to adjust is on the heal of the cam, set to zero lash, and the apply the amount of preload that you want, usually between 1/4 turn past zero to 3/4 turn.

well see what I did was take the rockers off... I was taking those off as well as the head bolts becuase I was about to change the springs and do 1.6rr's but I never got the rockers and I decided not to do the springs either, so now they make all sorts of noise.....ttt
