Valve Covers

Hey guys, I have a 96 TA and was wondering what options there are out there for aftermarket valve covers. I have seen some sweet looking ls1 valve covers but nothing for the LT1. Any websites would be great. Thanks
Mike

Re: Valve Covers

LT4 valve covers but about $100.00 each at the dealer

left #12552321 List -150.56 cost -85.77
right #12552322 List -160.79 cost- 91.66

Thats about it unless you go custom made.

Re: Valve Covers

You could try E-bay. They have some cool things on there sometimes.

Re: Valve Covers

Anybody have any luck with those aluminum ones off ebay? I think they are ~$90.

Re: Valve Covers

I used standard centerbolt valve covers. tall ones will work fine if you dont mind cutting a little on the alternator case and notching the front of the passenger side valve cover. migt not be a bolt on issue but my billet valve covers have flames ecthed into them so i think it was worth the work.

Re: Valve Covers

I took a grinder to the back of my alternator as well.
I did not need to modify the valvecovers in any way.
I notched the alternator and its worked fine. You just need to take off enough material on the alternator to get it to line back up straight for the belt.
