Valve cover options for lt1?

Valve cover options for lt1?

Can you guys recommend some other valve cover options besides the cantons. My altenator is in the original location and after the money thats been spent on this car I figured it deserved something nicer han he factory ones.

I just ordered a pair of the LT4 composite covers for mine. I think they are much better than looking than the stock steel ones but not as aftermarket looking as the cantons. And they will work with the alt in the stock location.

part numbers are:

right - 12552321
left - 12552322
studs (8) - 10108674
bolts (8) - 10108675

The LT4 covers is great. No problem with 1.6 nsa promags.
You will also need the mobil1 oil cap.

Get the stock ones stripped and crome plated at a good shop. I am running them on my 383 with AFR heads and 1.6 RR's with no clearance issues or problems. Also, the chrome looks great and no issues with rust and easy to clean.
