Right on for the pics..I just put in my order today for the cantons..Im running the promags too so I guess Ill have to clearence out that step also..They look good
The Cantons use any regular silicone valve cover gasket.
I received my pair of Canton Valve covers today and I'm having issues with the CC Pro Magnum rockers rubbing on the passenger side instep. Here are some pics.
In this picture you can see where the rocker arm rubs against the valve cover. I also noticed the locating tab right above it is bent too far away from the head so I will have to bend it a little to get it to settle.

You can see in this pic where it was rubbing on the rocker arm.

Here is a crappy picture of the valve covers on the motor.

And from the back.

I just finished installing the covers and running the vertical wire looms. I busted out the dremel and clearanced the step and it came out good. I hope I don't have to clearance it again.

Another issue with the valve cover is that the locating tab was cut too far forward. It would hit the lip of the head and would not allow the cover to sit flush.

I took a pair of vice grips and bent the tab till it looked like this:

The only set back to bending the tab is that its now tricky to keep the valve cover gasket stretched out because there is no tab keeping tension on the gasket. This is the final result:
