Valve Cover Breather yes or no?

Valve Cover Breather yes or no?

Just wondering if I should add a valve cover breather on the passenger side of my LT1. I've seen some guys who have one. Is there any advantage of doing this or disadvantages? I'm just looking to maybe eliminate the breather hose which is already connected there possibly. If so what brands and where is the best breather to buy?

There is no need for a breather on a healthy stock engine.

I see, I read through that a little bit, that was a huge thread. In other words it's really more for looks on our engines since the way it is set up?

Basically... it really only works if your rings are shot. The PCV system ventilates the crank case so theres no need for a breather.
