vacuum canster help
Hi I'm new to this sight hope you all can help me out.
I have a 1997 Camaro Z28.
I see a vacume canster on the pasanger side frame rail.
By the coolant tank you have to take the cover off the bottom of the front corner off to see it.
it's got 2 ports an one line that is broken.
I have no idea where the line's are and how to hook it up.
can somebody help me out maybe a vacume diagram?
Hope somebody can help me here I have a lot of work to do to this car. I bought it in Oct of 2003 and it was in an accident .
yea never by a car at dusk

thanks,
Chris

Welcome.
There's a guy called Shoebox, who has pictures, diagrams, and "how tos" for many of the parts on our cars. He has a photo of the heating/ventilating controls vacuum canister, showing that there is only one connection on the cannister (the other is closed off), and it connects to the check valve in the system. He also has photos of that.
