This is a real stupid question, but it should bring some interesting thoughts. Is there a way to remove the egr equipment from our cars and instead of removing the air pump, use it as a vacume pump to suck from the pcv valve? prorac1

 

why would you want to do that?

 

because theyre is power in vacume pumps. Helps rid motor of built up presure in the crank case more efficently than using engine vacume.
