Using a small Combustion Chamber Cons/Pros?

Im looking at using a 49cc head with a 16 cc volume piston. Stock deck (.022). 383 motor and .039 head gasket. That nets me around 11 to 1 compression.

The head being used is a Dart Iron Eagle 215 ( I can convert to gen 2 heads )

My main question is what are the Pros and Cons of using a small combustion chamber? There is proberly something since I never heard of anyone using such a small chamber.

Tnanks

Both research and empirical experience seems to indicate that a small, heart shaped combustion chamber with lots of quench tends to promote excellent turbulence, flame travel (by avoiding pop-up domes) and detonation resistance.

One of the best heads in recent years was the Volkswagen VR6 head, where the head surface was essentially flat and the entire combustion chamber was actually in the piston.
