LT4 cam HP #'s

What's up everyone, I just registered and have a question. What kind of numbers would a 10.5:1 LT1 with an LT4 hotcam kit, slightly ported heads and intake and headers back exhaust make?

-On a side note I've been teaching myself how to drive a manual on this car heh.

Re: LT4 cam HP #'s

You are probably looking at around 340-350hp. I dynoed 362 with homeported heads, hot cam, 58mm TB, and edelbrock headers and catback. I have since replaced the headers with Rksport and dynoed 372 rwhp.

I have not been back to the track, but I've run a best with the edlbrock headers of 12.600@ 112.21 on street tires through a moser 12 bolt.

If that's close thats more than I thought. What will make or break the power would be the heads. They were ported along with the intake before I got them, so I have no Idea how well they were done.

Does anyone have any suggestions on where to shift when I get good enough to go to the track? High 5's around 56-5700?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I believe your shift points are reliant on your cam.. Got specs?

Re: LT4 cam HP #'s

I have the hotcam kit which has springs, retainers, seats, and 1.6rr. I was wondering because I know it's going to be higher than a stock cam, but I wasn't sure how much. I'll prolly start out at 6000 and work my way up when the time comes. You can see the cam specs here http://www.sallee-chevrolet.com/Cam_...hotcamkit.html if you want.
