rich, would you recommend coating pistons in this motor or is the money spent elsewhere?

It won't gain much hp, but I think it helps the pistons survive. However, with a 150 shot for 11-12 seconds at a time I think it's overkill. If you want to spend an extra coupla hundred, get JE's instead of the SRP's (same design, better alloy).

thanks a ton man!

how do you think my heads look for the nitrous? see any places where they could be improved without compromising something else? i assume the exhaust, but what work needs to be done to them to get that extra flow

.100 64.2 47.8
.200 132.8 92.3
.300 188.6 134.5
.400 237.7 160.0
.500 267.1 179.1
.550 277.8 186.9
.600 279.0 191.7

Superflow SF300 bench, 1/2 inch clay lip and a 4.155 bore

You may not see quite the expected gains with the N2O due to the relatively weak exhaust flow, but it will still work fine.

rich how much exhaust flow do you realistically believe i could pick up without absolutely killing low lift flow?

also can you check my main caps post out?
