Using ARP main bolts while keep windage tray

How do you pull this off? Is the only way to do it using the stud kit for the mains?

I used ARP studs and still couldn't keep the windage tray. I'm pretty sure you actually need to pirate some studs off a 400 block stud set and combine that with the rest of the standard ARP SBC studs to be able to reuse the tray. Not 100% sure since I bother with the tray. That was two years ago, and my motor doesn't seem to have any oil control issues.

I with Josh as far as when I rebuilt mine to the stroker. I had clearance issues with the rods anyway so I just killed 2 birds with one stone and got me the Canton oil pan (awesome). It has a built in windage tray.

I bought three new GM studs p/n 12561389 and yes those three were about as expensive as a set of ARP bolts.

How about soldering the tray to the pan?
