Use Preload Plate on ES Tranny Mount??

Hey,

I am about to install my ES tranny mount and torque arm bushing, and was wondering if everyone has used the preload plate with the tranny mount. It says in the instructions it must be used, but I thought I remembered people discussing not using it. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Brandon

I used it when I installed mine and didn't notice any differece in vibration over my previous 1LE mount, also installed the ES TA mount at the same time too.

I didn't install the pre-load plate. I originally was going too, but with the plate on the cross-member would have never fit back on, we tried for 30mins before giving up. Have been running it without with nary a problem. At first there was some vibration, but I guess it has worked itself out. At higher RPM's there is definatley some vibration, but oh well.

Thanks, it's running better than I thought it could with the HC kit. I like the pic of the back of your car, looks very familiar Cool plate too.

I took the mount out after a week or so. Couldnt stand the vibration anymore. At 90 the car vibrated so bad. I went with the 1LE version. I use the preload bar tho. Some take it out and say it helped. I didnt try to see.
