I pulled the electric water pump on a friends car to switch back to a stock one. How do I get the drive pin out of the timing chain cover?? With the electric one on there they switched the pin around to block it off ond I tried to pull it out but it won't do anything except wiggle. Please tell me I don't have to pull the harmonic balancer and the opti/timing chain cover to get it out!!!

It has been so long since I saw a stock one, I forgot there is a factory splined coupler that joins the pins, now I just have to find one
