Ok, so here is the run down. I got bored and had a 97 dash and wiring harness sitting around my house so I decided to put it in my car. Bad idea. I took my old under-dash wiring harness out and put the 97 stlye in (Not thinking about the computer change) and I plugedd everything in and I got nothing. No lights, no juice at all, except for the cd player? So what can I do now. My old wiring harness is all tore up and this 97 wiring harness doesnt work. I have a 95 under-dash wiring harness will that work? Iam so confused......SOMEBODY HELP

 

You don't need to swap computers with a cluster change. I don't know of anyone who's done it before without a complete dash change, but since you've already started this, it would at least be a good learning experience for others.
I would recommend finding a connector for the 97 cluster with at least 7-8 inches of wires attached to it and go from there. I can help you with finding which wire goes where in the mean time. Just email me with the color/pin of the wire you need to know about and I'll write back.
