Upgrade Torque Arm?
Upgrade Torque Arm?
Just curious if upgrading the stock torque arm with a stronger replacement(BMR, SLP, etc.) is worth it. Im referring to the kind that uses the stock mounting points. Do they really help improve traction?
If you are going to get a TA, then get one the does not mount on the tail shaft of the tranny. If you don't want to relocate the mounting point of the TA, then don't waste your money on one the mounts on the tranny. There are other mods out there that are worth the money. Just my opinion.
I have an edlebrock TQ arm that relaces the stock unit. I got it used from a friend so I slaped it on, it was my first and so far only suspention mod. It eliminated my wheel hop and got better grip... In time I will get the sphon unit since it's stronger. replaces the tunel brace and had a DS loop.. but all around it is work it
