okay - posted few days ago about my car cranking but not turning over-

history : couple weeks ago installed cam / rockers and the usual goodies- first try she fired right up and idled perfectly - drove car home and noticed alternator wasnt charging. alternator then died and found out that it was due to powdercoating- also found a cracked coolant line above WP .

i replace line and checked everything- jumpstarted car and she ran while cables were connected but would not idle. got the new alternator - bolted in and go to start car and she cranks but wouldnt turnover. nothing has changed since last time. trickle charge the battery and still she wont turn over. so i have a warrenty on the battery so i got a new one and still wont turn over.

so far

ive checked and everything is plugged in and hooked up ( just in case i bumped something changine battery and alt.

when i turn my key to on position i hear my fuel pump kicking on and i have half a tank of gas.

pulled plug wire and im getting good consistant arch with block when trying to start.


what else could it be? only thing i can think is opti crapped out but after pulling the wire im not so sure. shes firing great.

any ideas?

 

Squirt fuel in the intake. If that doesn't work, check compression. If that's good, something happened to the spark timing.
