Update!!

Engine Pic

Head/Cam combo should be done around the end of the week including dyno tune with numbers!!!!

Good news is that for a 107500 mile engine, all the cross hatch is still there. I'm very happy about that!

Looks good although my question is why would you do two cars so similar? Not that its bad, but I personally would go in opposite directions with them...but thats just me...

Actually I didn't do two cars the same.

My Black one (the engine pic) is getting JPR heads flowing 281/210@.550 and an XE 224/230 112 cam, vented opti swap, cloyes true roller, mezier, comp R's, Pro mag 1.6's, chomemoly hardened pushrods, accel 300+, and a BBK 58 mm TB.

The other one is actually 93TAWicked1's old car. It has a Hotcam kit, ported heads with stock valves and a buncha other stuff. He went 12.6@105 with a burnt 2-3 clutch pack in the auto, which is now gone in lieu of a T-56. I just couldn't pass on such a good deal for an essentially completed car.

We're expecting to see around 290ish RWHP on my black one, and I'm betting on 260ish on Wicked's old car when I get it dyno'ed.

Shouldn't you put down more than 260 with a hotcam kit? Thats what some of the 6 speed cars do stock or with an exhaust....260 with a hotcam kit seems kinda low...seems real low actually...

260??? I HOPE you get more than that. LT1's dyno 240 stock??? Man if you don't get any more than that I'm a Horrible mechanic..... I'm thinking like 285 to 300 at the least! Even that would be dissapointing. Ported heads, cam, full exaust, Meized WP, T56 it ran 12.6 with an auto and street tires and I have 108mph time slips its gotta have more than that!

Also yours should put down 350-360 not 290?? The guy that did my heads has the same heads and a 236\240 cam and put down 389 with limited tuning. Similiar bolt ons...

LOL I was like man thats crazy I think 360 is a little optimistic for the wicked1 I'd say more like 340, some long tubes might open it up a bit and get the 360...... It will SMOKE a 2001 WS6 I can tell you that I can really feel the difference driving them! (OF course not for long

Yeah, I'm so used to talking small, I forgot I was joining the big boys. Well, bigger than bolt on boys at least.
