Upadate on water out # 8

Thanks for the advice.

I am in a good mood today. I took a close look at the cylinders and decided to put on a new head gasket anyways. I didn't see anything that look remotely like a pin hole or crack in the block. I put on a new GM head gasket. Over 100 years woth of engine builers experience have looked at the old Fel pro gasket and could not identify anything was wrong with the gasket. Why or how, the old gasket just didn't seal properly. Today I got everything buttoned up and spun the motor over on the strated, and got 45 psi oil pressure on a manual guage. Not water was lost. Crazy things certianly can and do happen. If that wouldn't have worked, then I would have had to drop the motor out again. I didn't want to drop it 3 times in one summer. knock on wood. hehe.

Thanks for the help once more, it won't be the last. This board kicks major butt!:

Glad it was something simple (or so it seems).
