i used the summit universal kit. worked great and is cheap! pretty good quality also ($100 for the 3") ground clearance isnt the best but its definately doable
theres a guy on here selling his kit that he had made for pacesetters, i'll get you the link

thanks the 100 bucks from summitt sounds better than 250 on the for sale section. although the setup he is selling i bet is really nice but i have just spent so much money lately.

true but by the time you buy everything, it will be close too $250
you gotta weigh in research on mufflers, shipping and buying the parts, welding it all or buying the good band clamps for gorund clearance etc etc etc

Re: which universal X to use for true duals with pacesetters?

I spent $210 at Jeg's.

Jeg's 2.5" Universal X-pipe kit
Jeg's 2.5" turndowns
3" to 2.5" flanged reducers
2.5" Dynomax Bullet mufflers

I'll have it in once this hurricane passes...depending on how delayed FedEx is. I'll keep you posted.

Re: which universal X to use for true duals with pacesetters?

I have a 3" univeral kit from jegs i bought a few months ago. The only thing is, I used the clamps for other pieces of exhaust so I no longer have those. If interested, PM me. Ill give it to you for $60 shipped if you live in the U.S. I was planning on running true duals, but then decided to sell the car and bought a y pipe.

bolt ons or small cam....2.5" is best

stroker or H/C....3" will work better

Re: which universal X to use for true duals with pacesetters?

The reason why my kit is $250 rather then $100 is because i needed mufflers of coarse without the mufflers it would be cheaper, Also my kit has 2 flowtech cutouts that i didn't want to seperate from the system because if i do you would need to extend the front legs longer to reach the headers. Thats why it's that price, with no cutouts i paid $184.88 shipped from summit with mufflers. Ive got the cutouts in case it wasent loud enough for me but the power gain was awsome and it's pretty loud under accel so im probably gonna buy a new kit and not install the cutouts this time.

My installer said "Thats the first Universal kit i've seen work so well with full length headers." So it does work and it will sound nice, keep in mind lowered cars and sh*tty roads will not work with true duals especially 3''
