Re: Underdrive Pullies, Electric Waterpump

CSI electric waterpump install done !!! Removal and installation was a breeze. the biggen pain in the *** was grinding room for the "ears" from the CSI pump into the waterpump housing. Afterwards it STILL would not fit....I was going crazy. Then I realized the csi pump diameter was about .005 bigger then the waterpump housing, So after running the grinder around the housing real quick it fit perfect. So far I am happy

if its already in teh housing then you have nothing to do but install it on the engine and run the wiring.

if you were to use your current housing you would have to remove the internals of the mechanical pump and do so grinding. all the info is located here.

awesome! thanks for the link. yeah the csi wp i bought is already fitted in a stock housing so aside from the wiring it should be plug and play.

Alright, its time to hijack this thing.

What % ASP pulleys did you guys used? I am looking into perhaps investing in one, but I cant figure out the best % to go with. Obviously I want the best gains without killing my battery daily.

P.S. Scroggin Dickey mention earlier now sells CSI's for $135.99. And in case you didnt know most people buy them used for more than that.
