Underdrive pulley? Good/bad? Why?
Sorry guys havent been on the board in awhile.
The ASP pulley as i said before replaces the original pulley. It still has some good weight to it (not light like the aluminum bolt ons), however i would guess it is at least 4lbs lighter than the stock damper. The reduction in rotating mass alone is worth the buy IMO.

Thanks for the links!
OK, now I have a couple questions:
1) What is the difference between the kits? There are "add-on" pulleys with 34% crank and 15% alternator stating full charge at 850 RPM.....I assume this means full alternator charging capabilty.
2) Then there is the 23% reduction harmonic balancer and 15% alternator setup (costs more, why?). What are the differences between these two setups?
3) It appears that you get a better alternator charge at a lower RPM using just the crank pulley without the alternator pulley....am I right? Why would I want to use the alternator pulley?
OK, help! I am just wanting to be sure to get what is best for my LT1...thanks everyone!

ok, just to throw in my .02...difference is a difference, no matter how small. I'm not saying you'll gain a .01 of sec on your 1/4 run but I though hp freaks are all about some gain no matter how small
Whether it's worth the time or money is really up to the person buying it.
