Ultimate Exhaust!

hey everyone, I just installed jethot longtubes, I want to do dual highflow cats, dual mufflers and dual DMH cutouts. Any suggestions on what mufflers and what cats? Also I'd like to do triple tip side exit with custom cut ground effects. Thanks

If you are gonna do dual cutouts, then you need to decide if you are gonna have them open most of the time or not. Personally, I think Spintech mufflers is a good choice. Great tone and loud, but not insanely loud.

I like the sound of Flowmaster one chamber race mufflers. They are just plain awesome.

I also think so too(look at sig ) but they are just not for some people. Some guys just can't handle stuff that loud. Personally, I absolutely love mine. But if I was ever gonna take them off, I would go with Spintechs. Great sounding mufflers.

I have Jet Hot Long Tubes with Catco cats and dynomax bullet mufflers. IMO, this setup is great. Its very quiet at idle and part throttle, but it screams when you jump on it. I love it because it kind of gives it a sleeper effect. You have the opened up exhaust with the headers and true duals, but the sound of a car that has nothing done to it but a muffler. That is unless of cousre you have a bigger cam or headwork.

How is yours quiet at idle and part throttle? I know you have cats but even so, it should be loud as crap. I got SLP shorties, no cats, and dual Bullets, and mine is crazy loud. Idle is very very noticeable from a distance and part throttle is ridiculously loud...don't even get me started on WOT. It screams like a beast. Part throttle just cruising freakin' rumbles the ground. I'm just curious how yours is quiet at all.

lol that's what I thought too! Wouldn't it be crazy loud even at idle with those dual bullets?

I'm going with an X-pipe and 3" Spintechs soon. I have their 4" dual outlet muffler right now and it sounds amazing. The duals should be even better.

I was wondering that myself when I got my car back from the shop. I dropped it off with open headers(my God what a sweet A$$ sound). When I went back, it was quieter than I ever would have thought. Dont get me wrong, at WOT its crazy loud, but theres no drone at all and at cruisin speeds its just right. It almost sounds like an LS1 with a cutout when Im not on it, minus the drone at low RPMs.

I'll try to get a sound clip for you guys, it must be hard to imagine without hearing it for yourself.

Yeah the Bullets are really awesome if you like your car to sound like a truck.

I would go with some flowmasters or spintech mufflers. I don't think the flows actually flow the best, but that is what the cutouts are for. The flowmasters are just for a sweet sound.

I hear that flowmasters have one of the best flow rates for the LT-1

Actually, its probably the worst, for flow regarding aftermarket catbacks.

Anything is better than stock though i guess.
