two step wiring

Who has wired there 6 speed up to a two step? How did ya do it? I want to mount mine to the nuetral safety switch and put it on a toggle switch, how do i go about this? The neutral safety switch has 2 wires yellow and brown which is hot? i tried it earlier tonight but got nothing, im using the msd digital 6. The two step works we run the wire strait to the battery. I want to be able to arm the two step with a toggle and activate it with the clutch some how. I just dont kno how to wire it into the nuetral safety switch. any ideas?

How could you be consistant with droppin the clutch and releasing button? Plus All this at one: Good reaction, clutch drop, release button, shift, hammer the throttle, feel for spin, feather (if needed), watch tach, thats alot of stuff to do at once. There got to be something easier.

Well, you drop the clutch a **** hair after you release the button. You should already be in a gear before you go. The throttle is probably all of the way down to the floor, DR or slicks there should be no spin, ywhy watch the tach when a shift light will work and you can see it out of the corner of your eye. Or as the other guy said, get an auto.

It is like riding a motorcycle. 15 million things to do at once. Do it a few times and it goes in a quick motion. But on your defense, a 6 speed and two step is not very consistant unless you work out all of the bugs.

My god this is an OLD thread. Check the board often?
