Two Questions: 160 t-stat & motor mounts

Hey everyone, I had two questions. The first one was I plan on installing a 160 degree thermostat in my 97 camaro. Will this cause any weird drivability issues with the OBD-II system such as a SES light? The car is never winter driven. Also, I plan on doing installing new motor mounts before doing my longtube install and was wondering if anyone knows of a writeup or site I can visit. Thanks in advance.

i installed my thermostat (160) and had no problem what so ever. Just make sure you bleed the system to make sure theres no air in it.

Re: Two Questions: 160 t-stat & motor mounts

I'm doing my motor mounts right now it says not to jack it up by the pan or crank pulley. So I'm going to borrow my friends chain and cherry picker and try it that way. I'm really not sure how else u would do it?? unless maybe u have the happy hooker?

But once you get all the stuff out of the way (for longtubes) it looks like it's going to be a really easy job. hth

I believe that you need to program your fans to go with the 160 Stat. JMHO
