Anyone know of a shop where I can purchase an engine or a local shop in Vegas that can build one

Re: Turnkey engines

Define "turnkey". Don't know of anyone other then junk yard that has complete engines, including all the accessories, intake, exhaust man. etc.
Many many builders have short blocks and/or long blocks. Any engine machine shop can build one, or fix yours. Look in the phone book under "performance" or "speed".

Re: Turnkey engines

eople seem happy with Golen. I have seen one of his motors and it was well done, made the power he claimed as well. Do you want a stock rebuild or a performance motor?

Not sure yet I want to get an idea of how much I would need to spend first then see if I can go with a performance engine

For comparison purposes, if you dropped a motor off at my place it would run ~$3600 all done and ready to drop back into the car.
