Turn Signals Inop

Turn Signals Inop. 4 way flashers work so I assume fuse is good. Any ideas?

Re: Turn Signals Inop

Separate flashers for turns and 4-ways. Separate fuses.

Re: Turn Signals Inop

2 separate flashers thanks for that. Fuse was blown after 30 years. Good to go for now thanks.

Re: Turn Signals Inop

Replaced flasher. No help. Operated turn Signals while inspecting and shaking down wiring and fuse didn't blow. As soon as I started engine fuse blew. Still troubleshooting.

I can’t seem to access the Shoebox schematic I linked above. As I recall, the schematic showing the fuses indicates there are one or more additional loads on turn signal fuse, as indicated by an arrow pointing off to the left, with a reference to the next drawing page number. You need to look to see what other loads are on that fuse.

More info. Back up lamps are also on same circuit. Fuse blows when shifting to reverse. Next move isolating switch on trans. Progress
