Turn Signals

Hi.

My son has a '95 T/A. Turn signals slowed down to a crawl a week or so ago. Hazards continued to work fine. Now everything has gone dead.

The local Midas changed out every bulb, checked flashers, and now ordered/installed an $80 part yesterday.

Turn signals worked for a few hours; today no good.

Anyone experience this and know what the root cause/fix is?

Is there any water damage present? Or has anything been wired to or connected to the Turning lamp wires? just sounds like a bad relay to me.

Thanks, is a "bad relay" the same as a control switch?

That's what they installed after diagnostics claimed this was the issue.

We're waiting to see/hear what happens.

The flasher control unit is not in the fuse box under the hood. It's under the driver side kick panel to the left of the steering column.
I know someone else whose Z28 is doing the exact same thing. We have changed the flasher and that didn't fix the problem. Keep us posted, okay?

A low battery voltage will also slow them down.

Actually the flasher to the left of the steering column is the hazards the turn signal is the one to the right that's stuck into the dash itself

EDIT: Never mind I just noticed he drives a TA I dunno
