I had a question about turbo blue or 110 leaded octane fuel. Does this fuel only affect the cats and o2 sensors. I'm asking because I just recently bought a high performance 95 z28 from a shop and they told me I could run 110 leaded since the car has no cats.

 

Lead is also bad for O2 sensors.

With the LT1 you can pretty easily get away wtih 12:1 compression on 93 octane provided proper cam selection.

Octane does NOT make power so why are you looking to run 110 octane?

 

It will hurt the 02's.
