tuning after cam install
tuning after cam install
how important is it to do some tuning after a cam install. can i run the car without custom tuning for a month or two. and how well will it work. its not that big of a cam (cc305). i will also change springs and maybe rockers. and all other necessary things timing chain, etc.
reason i dont want to tune right now is because im going with a higher stall later in the year. and really dont want to pay twice.

I don't think it will hurt anything (don't quote me on that) but you will obviously be giving up driveability, gas mileage, and of course power. If you are willing to live with that, then I think it will be fine.

does that hold true with bigger cams? such as the cc306, or gm 847?

The smaller cams you could probably get away with for a while, but I imagine it would run like a pig.
