tune up time

please someone help me with the best method of changing plugs and wires. i know its been beaten to death on here but im looking for a good way to go about this. im a beginner and i dont want to pay chevy for 5 hours worth of work. by the way i have ngks and accel 9000s. i also have access to a lift but would rather stay at home in case i cant get it done in one day.

Driver side plugs can be all done from the top. The last one may be easier from the bottom. Passenger side plugs can be done from the bottom for the last ones and from the top for the first two. The first one will be easier if you remove the alternator. Take your time and you'll be fine.

The drivers side takes all of 30 minutes or less, like posted before, most can be done from the top. The passenger side is a whole different story. I do the back two from the bottom and then the front two from the top. The first one on the passenger side is the hardest with the two tubes begining in the way. Just remove the Alternator, power steering pump, and the intake elbow and you should be good.
