Based on my own experience, I really wouldn't recommend the AC Delco plats. If you do a search, you'll find more than a few folks who're pissed off about those pucks coming off after a few thousand miles. Considering how much they cost on top of that.. pretty bad. NGK's have a great rep around here, but Splitfire's don't. Never tried either myself, but of the two, definitely NGK's. FWIW, I've had regular Bosch platinums (not +2 or +4 or anything) for a while now and they've been doing just fine. They're only a couple of buck each.

As for wires, I've used Accel 9000's with no problems, as well as whatever brand it is they sell at Advance. I think for the wires, the biggest problems occur due to the the install. You have to make sure they're routed and secured properly. Also - they're not like an actual copper wire or cable, they're much more fragile inside. Try not to beat them up too much when installing them.

After you're done with the plugs and wires, check on them again after a couple of days to make sure none of the wires are getting burned or chewed by a pulley.

Good luck

Yes it seems everyone has good things to say about the NGKs. I am having trouble finding them around here. I also have been using Bosch Plats Plus2 and they been working good. I ran Accel 9000 wires for 2 years and never had a problem. I just put MSD 8.5s on and have not had a chance to run them yet.
It is a pain to change plugs on these cars so I would go with a platinum plug unless you enjoy getting scratched up and pi**ed off, plats last longer so you won,t have to change them as often.
