Tune Question (driver side rich & pass side lean)

I just replaced both O2 sensors, because one was bad. I have been driving around the past couple days to get the code reset. The code has reset now, but while driving and at idle, mostly at idle the long term fuel counts are not equal and not even close. The driver side is running rich(~110) whereas the passenger side is running lean(~140). I know normal is around 128. I am currently running a Jeff Creech tune. Is there anything I can do to fix this or do I just need a new tune(which Im hoping to get soon, once I get some more money). Is it ok to drive, I dont want to hurt my motor, since the heads just got redone and the cam installed. I have the datamaster files I can email to anyone who would like to look at them.

Thanks
Kevin C

Split BLM's may be related to the throttle body, size of the cam, etc. Why not include some basic info about your car in your "signature"? I checked the link, and all it mentions is an LT4 HOT cam, yet in your post above you're taklking about heads reworked and possibly a new cam. Without knowing the details, its hard for anyone to help you.

I tried to include stuff in my sig but there is too much so I just but the cardomain link there. The link is up to date, the cam is the hot cam, and my heads were redone but only to stock standards because the company who redid the motor years back messed up the valves and they needed to be reseeded, and at that time I didnt have the money to get them ported, so I just had the valves redone and heads cleaned up, which was covered under warranty. I will look at the throttle body tonight, and see if I need to clean it.

yes, it does have an exhaust leak, but the leak is where the Ypipe meets the Ipipe because I have a 3in Ypipe and a stock 2 3/4 Ipipe. I have a 2 3/4 band clamp around the seam which stretched on the 3in side, so it seals ok but not perfectly. I should be getting a 3in Ipipe within the next month.

edit: come to think of it the leak is after the cutout, so I dont think it would matter

I have switced both the 02s and the o2 extensions, and the problem stayed the same. I think Im going to try changing the plugs this week, even tho they only have 1,000miles on them

Ive been reading up on this as I too have a similar problem. I swapped O2's changed plugs/wires, etc. Ive read about aftermarket tb's being part of the problem with split blm's at idle mostly. The IAC portion of the t.b. is dumped into the plenum instead of routed normally through the manifold. They say to erconnect the passageway with a piece of 1/2" brass or copper tubing and an O-ring pushed into the t.b. IAC passageway behind the t.b. mating plane. Ill be trying that this week.

Thanks for that info. I am currently still running my stock TB tho. Will you let me know if this fixes your problem?

I have the same problem. I beleive it was one of my o2 extensions. I just got that replaced but have to get ahold of my computer guy once I get my new exhaust on there to see if it has changed any.

its not one of my extensions because I switched the extensions side to side, and the problem stayed the same. I hope that extension fixed your problem

Sounds like a vacuume or exhaust leak.

I found 2 vaccum lines coming off of the throttle body that were dry rotted and cracked so I replaced them, but the problem still exists. Any more idea guys??

Thanks

Well I contacted Jeff Creech about my problem, and he said there was nothing in the tune that he could do to fix it, but he did send me this link http://para.noid.org/~lj/PCM%20Tutor...litBLMinfo.htm, which describes how to fix it. I hope this helps everyone else, Im gonna try it out either today or tomorrow and I will let you guys know if it worked for me
