Tubular K member-yae or nae??

theres a guy sellin one on the board, and I was wondering if people that have these or have considered these would chime in with some info, any info. The suspension is still pretty much stock but I have the motor jacked up right now, and the frame mounts off, so it wouldn't be that much trouble to install. I'd like to save some weight where possible.

What kind is it? The PA racing one is kindy shady which is my reason for going with the BMR one. Since all of BMR stuff kicks a$$

You can check out MY PAGE and click on KMEMBER on the left to see mine installed

Sure makes working on the car easier - I can get to all of my spark plugs easily from underneath with the exception of #2.

Only thing to watch out for is some shorty/mid-length headers hit the K-member. My Borla shorties hit the motor mount on the driver's side. Long tubes don't seem to be an issue though, and not all shorty/mid-length have a problem with clearance. I've since gone to a set of TPiS longtubes and they fit great!

Thanks for all the info. I was just looking on the bmr website and it looks like the one up for sell doesn't have the integrated frame mounts for the motor mounts on the k-member. Its not a huge deal I guess, but you guys that already have them.....are they the ones with the integrated frame mounts??

Yea the passenger side is already intergrated just like the stock kmember and the driver side you can just use your stock mount (I WOULD NOT reccommend this) or you can get the poly mount for like $30 bucks which is the way to go. Or spend some xtra cash and get the soild mounts but not completly necessiary!

Anyone got the part # or source for that one motor mount? I wouldn't mind having solid.

I've got both sides solid in my 5.0.

Simple,
Why do you suggest jsut the lower a-arms with the BMR K-member? Do you know of any problems with the upper control arms?

Thanks
