Trying to make FAQ, what questions?

I'm in the middle of making my new web site and i'd like to have a FAQ in there to help get rid of the questions asked 10x a day here.
I'm going to have a few websites (brent/shoebox/refrences) and phone numbers(jason/dal) on there.

What questions do you think are most frequently asked that can be put on there. I can also put some basic concepts on there too.

it obviously cant be a "which tires are best" post.

I can however explain tire sizes and how they effect tracion or the basic idea behind the trade offs in suspension.

let me know what u want up there and i'll do my best to getit up

Thanks
trey

Low RPM stumble

how to use seafoam

how to replace sparkplugs

those are some VERY frequently asked questions

What about a chart or something that shows 'bang for the buck' dyno gains with some common bolt-on's and how much they cost.
Not sayin go out and buy some and spend a week on the dyno, but just takin dyno #'s from people who have gone from stock to adding insert product here and they gains they got. Just a thought cause it is also a common question, "How much HP will I gain with insert product here .

maybe can't be a "which XXX is best", but you could provide links to say the header comparison spreadsheet that was put out a while ago, and it wouldn't hurt to provide links to exhaust sound clips and a little bit of explanation of why its hard to say which exhaust is best. I suggest either grabbing all the sound clips you can or linking to them. Same thing with Cam sounds

"He's gonna do his best to getit up"

Seriously though..

Just some thoughts off of the top of my head:

1. Correct procedures or placement of jackstands when lifting the entire car. (There's a multitude of potential jacking points on these cars, most of which IMO suck) People new to these cars could benefit from the more experienced insigths from others.
2. I haven't seen this anywhere but what the hey, "How to adjust misaligned body panels (front quarter panels rear hatch etc...) The lines on these cars match up like the San Andreas fault. If anyone has any hints or tricks out there on adjusting body panels I think alot of people would appreciate it.
3. Best sources for OEM parts list and contact numbers.
4. Links to some other, great informative pages i.e. Injuneer's Brent's shoebox's etc... immediaely pop into mind. These individuals and others have really gone above the call of duty (as you are about to do yourself) It would be great to have a centralized area that provides easy access to other sites.
5. The right way to use your car to pick up chicks
6. Top 10 or 20 list of the most common failures for these cars and instructions or links on how to fix them.
7. Some way to address the "which exhaust sounds best?" question Maybe list all of the available exhausts, conduct a poll and list out the results including performance, sound, ease of install, durability and price information. I saw a web page where someone did exactly this for headers, very informative (Sorry but I'm unable to remember the website)

I agree with greasepunk, the low rpm stumble is a huge topic. I have my own personal views on this after spending 1 1/2 years of troubleshooting and finally coming up with a possible theory. More than happy to share and email it to you if you're interested.

Again, just a few ideas. Hard to thin so early on a Sat morning.

Trey, in advance, kudos on this upcoming project!!

EDITED: Sorry Trey I missed some of your post, didnt mean to replicate some of the things you've already mentioned!

I think the 160* stat and TB bypass get asked about way too much on here.

By far the most common questions seems to be related to exhaust. If you can, provide some pictures and sound files/movies for a bunch of different exhausts along with a price and where to get them. I used to have this on my webpage, but my bandwidth kept getting exceeded.

How about "Is my opti going bad?" I see that all the time.
And i agree about the "What will my car run?" question.
Maybe a listing of some common races these people ask about all the time (i.e.- Can I beat an 03 Cobra, or what would it take to beat an LS1 TA). something like that.

I applaud your efforts to group all the FAQ in one area. All the answers are usually out there--it's just a matter of knowing where to find it. Definately keep away from any and all non-factual info! (Which I think you had already mentioned.)

Anyone with webspace and the ability to put survey onn their website- PLEASE contact me VIA Email or AIM

I would like to make a mod survey

Something like
that asks
what Mod
dyno gain (if known)
track gain (if known)
sotp gain (if known)
Cost
Labor (if applicable)
Gas milage increase/decrease
opinion of it (1-10)

This can help end the "what mod should I do next"
