Trying to finish my LT1 Project car
Trying to finish my LT1 Project car
Its been about 6 years and counting since I've been working on this thing. The block has been assembled and sitting for about 4 years it had assembly lube and a little oil in it. Tranny has a little fluid in it.
Engine and trans are in the car, '95 A4 firebird but it seems I have a bunch of loose ends to get the car ready to fire.
Through the years, bolts grow feet and leave... so I'm missing a few.
Do you know the bolt sizes?
1. TCI 3600 Streetfighter Converter Bolts
2. Fly Wheel Cover Bolts
3. Header bolts (seems I had trouble getting in the #2 bolts on each LT Pacesetter)
4. Starter Bolts (i don't think they makes these anymore from GM)
next...
5.Anyone have any suggestions to lubricate the system before I start it? Or am I in need of a rebuild? I sealed up the majority of entrance and exit holes in an attempt to avoid unwanted sand/dirt particals.
All the parts have 0 miles on them all the bearings, upper valvetrain, cam. Stock piston n rods, stock crank. and has been turned over a few times, but not lately (past 3 years).
I printed up schematics for the harness and HVAC lines, I think I have those parts accounted for and covered. The rest is ABS! cooling system and then putting on suspension parts once it starts. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I can't wait to get this thing done and back into the F-body community.
Will post specs, times, and parts once the build is complete!
THANKS!
