Heres the deal.... I want true duals for my 95 Z28 M6. I currently have AS&M midlengths with a cutout. I want LT's and true duals.... I have heard that i CAN and CAN'T do this.... My plans for the summer are as follows(if possible).. GM 847 cam, LLoyd elliot ported heads, LT's, and an X-pipe.... I was very unsatisfied with my hotcam and am makeing some drastic changes. I have the money to do all of this but dont know how or IF i can do true duals on my 95... Pleas help me on this .... Any input is much appreciated. Thanks...

Do a search, this topic gets brought up every week. I have a '95 TA with Hooker LTs and x-pipe true duals. I also have 2.5" pipe going over the axle, out the back. Anything is possible. Just to start you off, here's a pic of my setup.

Thank you I was very impressed by the shops work. They did everything from the headers back in about 4 hours (I did the headers myself).

I was having a hard time convincing shops to do it actually. Most of them laughed when I said I wanted duals on a 4th gen. The rest of them said they couldn't do it without cats. I was talking to the owner of the local speed shop and she told me about the place that did it. I met with the guy who owned the place and showed him some pics to give him an idea. He seemed like he really wanted to try it and that he'd do it without cats if I kept it on the D/L. I was really impressed with his shop's work.

I supplied the mufflers, tips, and reducers, and they fabbed the entire system (including custom x-pipe) for $530 including tax. That's over the axle, though. Turn downs should be a lot cheaper, if that's what Lanes will do. Make sure you know if you want to do over the axle or turn downs.

Yeah, I saved all of the pictures of PatriotTA's setup to use when I get back from Iraq in a couple of months. Great setup, gonna print the pics and take them to shop at home.

Hows the ground clearance with that setup? It seems like you would lose alot of clearance, but maybe not.

I have stock ride height, and I was able to get up and down my driveway without a problem, as long as I take it slow. My driveway is really steep, BTW. I cleared speed bumps when I had open headers, I think I can clear them with the duals if I have to, but haven't attempted them yet.
