I want to do true duals on my Z but I am afraid just having 2 bullets will be too loud. Has anyone ever put 4 bullets in instead of 2??

Would it be considerably quieter than 2 bullets??

car is a 6 spd with LTs....I would probably go 2.5" but maybe 3" for the nitrous.......we'll see.

I found a video a while back of a car (LT1 z28) that had Mac mid lengths, custom pipes down to 2 12" bullets into an x-pipe junction, out of the x into 2 moroso spiral flow mufflers dumped down at the axle. I think I found the link on www.ls1sounds.com under the dual exhaust section. You could run the same setup or similar out the back of the car and it would be even quieter.

this opens a can of worms. how about 2 x-pipes? 2 h-pipes? 2 mufflers and 4 cats? 4 mufflers and 4 cats? is there room?

thanks for the post........it was on an LS1 car however, but the visual helped. That is pretty much what I had in mind though.........but I would use dynomax all the way through.

I have true duals 2.5 with a x pipe, the cops don't even give me a look at iddle or driving, but when i'm on it you can hear it. If you realy want run the pipes out the back, their are a few guys that run them up and over the rear end back to tips. Mine are just dumped before the rear
