True dual question

I bought some Hooker Long tubes. Im wanting to go with a 3 inch dual with an X pipe and dump it before the rear wheels. My buddy has done this whith his 94Z. He bought some exhaust flanges, summit universal X pipe kit, bullets and turn downs and it worked sweet. My question is will it clear my BMR driveshaft loop? I have to have it because the mount for my S&W t/A is on the driveshaft loop. Any suggestions?

Re: True dual question

I doubt it....but you can always route the exhaust around it. My duals clear my Lakewood loop just fine, and as far as I know it's the only design that will clear an X-pipe.

Re: True dual question

It probably can be done but it will have to be bent and fabbed at an exaust shop. Not gonna be a bolt up yourself kit.

Re: True dual question

Just buy the X and the mufflers you want to use and let an exhaust shop fab the rest. Oh yeah, 2.5" pipe fits alot better than 3", and it flows more than enough for most street cars.
