Trouble starting car after it has been running

The ole' TA starts up great the first time i start it but after driving it for awhile and shutting it off (like to fill up with gas) then i go to start it back up and the starter seems really weak, almost won't start. Any ideas?

Thanks

Check your battery and alternator. Maybe your alternator isn't charging the battery properly while running.

Or maybe your headers are too close to the starter? Thats usually not a problem with MACs though.

What is the best way to do that? I have freescan if that works. The battery gauge in the car is always over the half way mark so i would think the alt. is doing its job.
