dyno results for pacesetter and boltons

Went to Thunder Racing on Saturday morning and made some dyno runs
Their shop is top notch, and their people are simply AMAZING

Happy with my Dyno results, except for being a bit rich
284 hp and 312 torque
in 95 degree heat with 48% humidity

This is a baseline, Im installing LE1 package in the coming weeks
See my sig for mods

Re: dyno results for pacesetter and boltons

Seems low to mebut i may be mistaken. My 97 put down 276 with an intake and flow master muffler. This was during very cool weather but I didn't know it would make that much of a difference.

Re: dyno results for pacesetter and boltons

maybe the 95 degree air and 48% humidity had somthing to do with it

I also drove 70 miles to the dyno so the car was heat soaked when I arrived.

Im very happy with the run, I just wish it wasnt as rich

Re: dyno results for pacesetter and boltons

Whoever put down over 290rwhp with just a CAI was more than likely on a liberal dyno.

A bolt-on car on average is gonna put down somewhere between 280-290rwhp on average. Some may do a bit lower, some a bit higher... I personally put down 278rwhp w/ mac mids and a magnaflow muffler.

Theres too much variation between dynos and conditions (car temp/weather etc.) to compare numbers too critically.

Your 285 HP FWHP rated car put down 293 rwhp with a cold air kit that typically adds about 8rwhp?

Think about what you're saying and see if that makes any kind of sense.
