trouble starting after 3 weeks

hey guys,

well I put the cover on her about 3 weeks ago right before some heavy snow (michigan). the last few weeks have been extremely cold but we recently got some mild weather. I tried to start her up yesterday and she tries hard but just won't turnover. I have never had a problem starting it up before this, and she worked perfectly previous to storing it. I normally put fuel stabilizer in it before I store it, but I am an idiot and totally forgot.

while trying to start, I gave it some gas and it smelled pretty heavily of gasoline a few times I tried after. you think I may have flooded it? any ideas?

thanks a lot in advance

Try holding the pedal to the floor and starting it.If its flooded it should fire up.

Can you even flood a fuel injected car? If you are getting good fuel pressure then it is probably spark related. Was it covered outdoors? Any chance of the opti haven gotten wet? Any trouble codes?

Its been so damp here in Michigan lately. The wires are probably wet. Some WD-40 sprayed on them might help.Yes you can flood it.
