Trouble Installing 410 Pinion

I AM IN THE PROCESS OF INSTALLING 410 IN MY 95Z BUT FOR SOME REASON I CANNOT GET THE PINION TO TIGHTEN UP. IS THE CRUSH SLEEVE NOT GIVING OR WHAT AM I DOING WRONG.

I believe it takes considerable torque to tighten the pinion nut. What are you using for instructions?

i am using a 3/4 inch breaker bar.

It does take a LOT of torque. Isn't it like 150 ft/lbs? I did this last year and I had a pipe on the end of a breaker bar and a monsterous pipe wrench holding the yoke in place. There was so much flex in all the bars that I couldn't crush it (my car wasn't high enough to give me much of a swing). I got frustrated, so I put a big impact wrench on it (although you have to be very careful not to overtighten, or you'll have to get another crush sleeve and start from scratch).
