I just installed my strut tower brace in yesterday. When I closed the lid, I noted that the left panel ( the two little panels on top of the hood) popped up a little. When I push it back down, it goes down but I hear the insulation crunch a little. It does this everytime I shut the hood. Any ideas?

i've had BMR brace on an lt1 and now my ls1 with no problems

 

well, if it would clear w/ the insulation removed then remove the insulation... otherwise get that looked at.

I'm going to email them and check with them. I'll trim away any of the insulation where it's hitting to see if that helps. But I hate to do it.
