ok my car is throwing up this trouble code every couple of days. ive traced it back to the air pump bank 2. ive read that this is a commmon problem, but since the car is new to me im not familar with what i need to look for or what i need to fix. the car is a 96 formula WS6. thanks for the help. Your air check vavle is shot. Get a new one for like 20 bucks at Napa and replace the passenger side valve. Be sure to reset the computer by disconnecting the battery and you're good to go!

It's on top of the passenger side exhaust manifold.

I have a Chiltons and it works out well for me. Alot cheaper than a GM shop manual.

 

thanks sanger ill see how i like chiltons. i preferre to have pictures or diagrams at least. it makes things easier when they give something simple a complicated name. Trey
