tried searching, what lifters to use?
I have been playing with the seach function for about a half hour and not finding what I want to know.
So, which lifters would be the best for a stroker, using comp pro mags 1.6 roller rockers, probably comp 918 beehives? I will be doing NSA rockers, with guideplates of course, and this is a daily driver. I want good peices, not clicky cheap ones, but I don't want to blow 500 dollars on them. I am not interested in the comp R's as everyone has problems with them failing. I am running jegs replacement stockers now, but I don't think the spring pressures will equal the beehives.. am I wrong? Anyway, this motor is gonna be new, so I want new lifters too. So, let the suggestions begin!

What the man said! Nothing wrong with the stockers unless you are running high spring pressure/high rpm. In which case the Morel's are the best bet. Why not just get 'em? They are around $500.

interesting. I was thinkin about just the comp replacements, or maybe the cranes. Anyone try just the stock replacements from them too, or just do GM?
Re: tried searching, what lifters to use?
Beehives big advantage is lesser spring pressure for the same valvetrain control, so they can control a fairly wild cam without all sorts of other valvetrain work you would normally have to consider with other springs.

Using a set of solid comp roller lifters (don't remember which though
) in my new motor with a slightly taller body to offset the smaller base circle camshaft in it.
